On December 4, 2025, the Global Alliance for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as "GATIS") held the seventh meeting of its First Council in Beijing, China. The meeting was chaired by President Jiang Zengwei, with full attendance by all nine council members or their authorized representatives.

During the meeting, attendees reviewed and approved the admission of 37 new members to the GATIS, as well as the establishment of two new branches: the Aviation Industry Committee and the Digital Economy Committee.

As of now, the total number of member organizations has reached 325. These members are based in 41 countries and regions across five continents and represent 12 major sectors of trade in services. The official establishment of these two branches further strengthens the Alliance's organizational structure and professional capabilities, laying a solid foundation for its comprehensive development.

Moving forward, under the leadership of its Council, the GATIS will actively build platforms for exchange and cooperation in the global trade in services sector with an open, pragmatic, and innovative approach, making a positive contribution to building an inclusive and robust global ecosystem for trade in services.
