GATIS President Jiang Zengwei attends and addresses 10th New Financial Forum

On November 28, 2025, the 10th New Financial Forum, hosted by the Outlook Weekly of Xinhua News Agency and supported by the Global Alliance for Trade in Services (GATIS), was successfully held in Beijing. GATIS President Jiang Zengwei attended multiple segments of the forum, including the opening ceremony, keynote speeches, and a closed-door seminar.

In his opening address, President Jiang Zengwei noted that, from the perspective of international trade and investment, the level of financial development not only influences the scale, efficiency, and shifts in the balance of power within international economic and trade relations, but also underscores the rise of cross-border financial services as a vital sector of international trade in services, characterized by high technological content and added value. Standing at a new historical juncture, the GATIS, as a non-governmental international organization covering all sectors of trade in services globally, is willing to work hand in hand with enterprises, institutions, and professionals, including those from the financial industry, to jointly promote the innovation-driven growth across diverse categories of trade in services, and to actively contribute to the prosperous economic and trade development of both China and the world.

At the closed-door seminar themed "New Environment, New Challenges, and New Strategies for China's Open Development in the Next Five Years", President Jiang Zengwei delivered a thematic speech focusing on the significance and topic selection of the roundtable discussion. GATIS expert and researcher Xing Houyuan delivered a keynote speech at the sub-forum titled "Cross-Cycle Resilience of Private Enterprises from a Financial Perspective", and also participated in the roundtable exchange.

The forum was jointly attended by GATIS members and industry partners, including CITIC Group, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited, Shanghai YTO Express (Logistics) Co., Ltd., China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), State Information Center, Grand World Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., Changyu Group, JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Genertec), Chi Forest, Kenvue Inc. (Johnson & Johnson), and Hubei Asia-Pacific-Europe Technology Co., Ltd.

GATIS Deputy Secretaries-General Chen Ning and Lu Lanping, along with expert Ma She, accompanied President Jiang Zengwei to the aforementioned events.
