On December 23, 2025, Jiang Zengwei, President of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services (GATIS), led his delegation to visit the Department of Commerce of Heilongjiang Province (the Department) and held discussions with Li Jigang, Director-General of the Department; Xing Yingna, Deputy Director-General of the Department; and representatives from relevant enterprises involved in trade in services.

President Jiang Zengwei stated that GATIS is committed to its mission of promoting exchanges, cooperation, and sustainable development in the global trade in services sector. With a focus on serving its member enterprises, GATIS builds platforms to foster the growth of trade in services. Currently, GATIS has 325 members from over 40 countries and regions, covering 12 key sectors of trade in services.

Deputy Director-General Xing Yingna presented a comprehensive report on the current development of trade in services in Heilongjiang Province. Under the strong leadership of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, the province has continuously energized trade in services by enhancing services, optimizing structures, and building platforms, leading to a stable trend with good momentum for growth. She added that the Department looks forward to deepening cooperation with GATIS in the future, actively participating in GATIS-related activities in 2026, and fully leveraging the advantages of GATIS's international platforms to promote the development of industrial trade in services in the province. The Department aims to integrate the concerns and expectations of enterprises into future collaborations, contributing positively to the sound and sustainable development of trade in services in the province.
The discussions were also attended by GATIS Deputy Secretary-General Chen Ning; Ding Shuwang, Deputy Commissioner of the MOFCOM's Office of the Commissioner in Dalian; relevant personnel from the Department; and representatives from enterprises involved in trade in services.
