On September 11, the 2025 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Exchange Conference on Collaborative Innovation and High-Quality Development of Trade in Services and Digital Trade was held at Shougang Park in Beijing.
Liang Jingyuan, Vice Secretary-General of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as “GATIS”), attended and addressed the conference. He highlighted that global trade in services is currently exhibiting new trends, including digitization, open cooperation, and green transformation. Digitization is profoundly reshaping the landscape of global trade in services, open cooperation remains the main development path, and green transformation offers significant opportunities. The resilience of trade in services is both being tested and demonstrated. GATIS will act as an effective bridge and facilitator, actively supporting Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei in areas such as industrial coordination, enterprise services, environmental optimization, alignment with international high-standard trade and economic rules, and the implementation of more cooperative projects in the region. These efforts aim to jointly promote collaborative innovation and high-quality development of trade in services and digital trade across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The Conference was hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce and co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce. Under the theme of “Collaborative Innovation, Openness and Win-Win Outcome,” it facilitated in-depth discussions on regional collaborative innovation, professional platform development, efficient use of key resources, and international cooperation opportunities, exploring new pathways for high-quality, coordinated development.
